Our Story
Punch Perfect was born out of passion, purpose, and a deep desire to help children and teens navigate the challenges they face today. My name is Corleen (Lienx), and I'm a qualified teacher with over 15 years of experience in child education, both locally and internationally. I've worked in various educational environments, including private, public, and Montessori schools, and my journey started when I began babysitting at the age of 16 and went on to complete multiple courses in au pairing. Over the years, I've gained invaluable insight into how children and teens grow, learn, and, most importantly, how they need support when facing difficult situations.
In addition to my teaching qualifications, I’m a certified boxing instructor, passionate about using the discipline and lessons of boxing to help individuals of all ages build strength, confidence, and resilience. My personal journey with boxing began in 2015 when I lost my best friend in a tragic motorbike accident. Struggling with grief, pain, and depression, I turned to boxing as an outlet to cope with these emotions. It became my therapy, my lifeline, and, in many ways, it saved my life. As I trained more seriously, I quickly realised how much boxing had transformed not only my physical health but also my mental and emotional well-being.

Through my teaching career and experience as an au pair, I’ve seen how much bullying and negative behaviour impact people of all ages. I’ve witnessed bullying in schools—not just among students, but also from teachers and even parents—and I know first hand how difficult it can be to find one’s voice. In today's world, social media has amplified these challenges, making negative influences relentless and often permanent. Unlike the face-to-face bullying I experienced when I was younger, many people today struggle to escape the pressures of online harassment. This leaves many feeling alone, unheard, and unsure of where to turn for help.
That’s why I started Punch Perfect—to empower people of all ages to build confidence, stand up for themselves, and navigate life’s challenges with strength and resilience. Boxing isn’t just a sport; it’s a tool for developing mental and emotional strength, teaching self-respect, and providing a healthy outlet for pent-up frustration. At Punch Perfect, our mission is to teach not only the art of boxing but also how to apply its lessons beyond the ring to improve everyday life.
